Functional coating selection
Controlling condensation starts with the cause of moisture.
A hygroscopic coating can temporarily absorb condensation moisture and release it later with sufficient ventilation. This makes it interesting for large metal or mineral ceilings, but only when leakage, permanent moisture and insufficient ventilation have first been distinguished from cyclical condensation.
PolyShield does not select a coating based on one commercial property. Substrate, environmental conditions, application method, dry layer thickness, maintenance and current technical documentation together form the admission framework.

Assess temperature, relative humidity and thermal bridges over representative times of use.
Ventilation and moisture production
Determine whether moisture absorbed between condensation cycles can actually be drained.
Do not conceal any leakage
First rule out or solve roof leaks, construction moisture and permanently wet areas.
Test area and capacity
Test absorption capacity, layer thickness, adhesion and appearance on the actual surface.
No universal solution
A test area is part of the technical selection.
Consumption and processing speed only follow after assessing roughness, suction, geometry, accessibility and required performance. Pre-treatment or specialist repair can be carried out by a selected partner company under pre-determined transfer criteria.
