Several leaks have been specifically resolved on a commercial roof of approximately 350 m². The selected areas have been cleaned and then treated with primer, geotextile and a liquid 2K waterproofing.

Local system renovation after demarcating the leakage-sensitive zones.

Niet het volledige dak hoefde in de renovatieaanpak te worden opgenomen. De betreffende stroken en aansluitingen zijn gereinigd, geprimerd en als doorlopende lokale waterdichting behandeld. Die afbakening voorkomt onnodige werkzaamheden, mits de overige dakdelen technisch buiten de probleemsituatie vallen.

De situatie

Waarom het werk nodig was

Op verschillende plaatsen van het circa 350 m² grote dak traden lekkages op. De technische opgave was om de betreffende zones doelgericht te herstellen en goed aan te sluiten op de bestaande dakbedekking, zonder het volledige dakoppervlak onnodig in de renovatieaanpak op te nemen.

Onze aanpak

Zo hebben we het aangepakt

  • Inspect the roof and leakage-prone areas and determine local treatment limits
  • Clean the relevant roof parts under high pressure and allow to dry completely
  • Provide the prepared surface with a suitable primer as an adhesion layer
  • Reinforce seams, transitions and critical zones locally with geotextile
  • Provide the selected zones and connections locally with cold-applied 2K polyurea
  • Visually check the continuous membrane, upstands, penetrations and transitions to the existing roof covering

Het resultaat

After completion, the treated roof zones form a continuous, seamless waterproofing. The leaks found have been repaired and the roof can function as a watertight building envelope again.

The combination of targeted cleaning, primer, geotextile and the liquid 2K membrane ensures one continuous waterproof layer within the treated zones.
